Αγαπητά μας μέλη,
Παρακάτω ακολουθεί ενημέρωση από τους Ευρωπαίους συναδέλφους μας για την αλλαγή τόπου διεξαγωγής της επερχόμενης Γενικής μας Συνέλευσης 2021 η οποία ήταν να γίνει το Νοέμβριο στο Ελσίνκι. Τελικώς, λόγω αυξανόμενων περιορισμών στις μετακινήσεις στη Φινλανδία, αποφασίστηκε η αλλαγή τόπου διεξαγωγής της Συνέλευσης.
Θα γίνει στις ίδιες ημερομηνίες, δηλαδή 12-14 Νοεμβρίου 2021 στις Βρυξέλλες, στα γραφεία της UEMS, και θα διοργανωθεί από το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο του EJD.
Υπενθυμίζεται πως όσοι ενδιαφέρονται να συμμετάσχουν στην ελληνική αποστολή, καλούνται να μας το γνωστοποιήσουν το συντομότερο δυνατόν στη διεύθυνση: jdnhellas@gmail.com. Η ελληνική αποστολή προς το παρόν αποτελείται από τους Κ. Ροδίτη και Β. Παπαγεωργίου.
Θα ακολουθήσουν περισσότερα μόλις έχουμε νεότερα από τους Ευρωπαίους νέους γιατρούς του EJD!

I hope this email finds you well.
By decision of the General Assembly during our Spring Meeting 2021 (SM21) the Autumn Meeting 2021 (AM21) was planned to be held in Helsinki, Finland. Though the necessary preparations were made, due to rising Covid-19 cases in Finland the government has imposed restrictions on meetings that already make a successful AM21 nearly impossible. Those restrictions will most likely be more restrictive until the intended date. After consultation with our Finnish colleagues, the board decided to host AM21 in Belgium as a physical meeting with adequate precautions, whereas our colleagues from Finland intend to host SM22. This decision was made during our board meeting on 3rd/4th September.
Therefore, if possible with Covid-19 restrictions, AM21 will be hosted by the Executive Board in Brussels, Belgium. You will receive the official invitation, additional information and supporting documents in the coming weeks. The date of the meeting has not changed and is still 12th/14th of November.
Please let me remind you that we will have elections for the next regular term during the General Assembly at AM21. This means that the positions of the Executive Board (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, PGT Committee Chair, MWF Committee Chair, EU/EEA Committee Chair, Administrations Officer, Communications Officer), the appointed persons (UEMO Liaison, AMME Liaison/Medical Education Officer) as well as the vacant positions as UEMS Representative (list of vacant positions will be provided soon) are up for election. The official call for elections will be sent out with the first mail-out including the official invitation.
