Παρακάτω σημερινό δελτίο τύπου του Παγκόσμιου Ιατρικού Συλλόγου, που αφορά την από κοινού έκκληση Ιατρών και Κτηνιάτρων με αφορμή την 28η Σεπτεμβρίου - Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Λύσσας για εξάλειψη της μεταδιδόμενης μορφής της νόσου από το σκύλο στον άνθρωπο. Η συμμαχία ονομάζεται “Rabies: Zero by 30 “ και αποτελεί την επίσημη καμπάνια της Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC).:
